So verwendet ESX die besten, aber auch mit die teuersten 3-lagigen Verbund-Membranen aus Carbon, gehärteter Baumwolle und Glasfaser. Die Kombi ergibt die höchste Stabilität bei gleichzeitig geringstem Gewicht und hält so dem enormen Druck stand, den die kräftigen 300 Unzen Magnetantriebe erzeugen. CCAR-Spulen bestehen aus Alu-Flachdraht mit Kupfer-Ummantelung, eine hoch belastbare Kombination, die obendrein Gewicht spart und somit den Wirkungsgrad erhöht. Bei diesen Körben wurde auf zwei Eigenschaften besonderen Wert gelegt: Eine möglichst große Zentrierung um optimalen Hub der Membrane zu gewährleisten und eine sehr gute Hinterlüftung von Spider und Schwingspule. Dies mindert die Komprimierung bei der Auslenkung der Membrane und fördert die Kühlung der Schwingspule. Um die Kühlung weiter zu verbessern und somit die Belastbarkeit zu steigern, wurde die T-Plate zusätzlich mit Lüftungslöchern versehen. Die 76 mm (3“) Doppelschwingspule auf schwarz eloxiertem Aluminium-Träger wird von zwei kräftigen 100 oz. (Y30) Magneten angetrieben, was für einen äußerst effizienten Wirkungsgrad bis zu 89 dB sorgt. Die 40 mm lang gewickelte Schwingspule verleiht der Membrane eine lineare Auslenkung von +\/- 14 mm und eine mechanische Auslenkung von sogar bis zu +\/- 22 mm.
